Tonight we opened our season with a win against South Central 65-55. The girls were nervous to start but regained control over the second quarter, with steals from freshman, Brianna Tucker, Hunt took the lead. As a team they maintained a great balance. The defense of several players, such as Bryson Lee and Kayla Kent kept us strong. Destinee Pierce provided a strong game offensively and defensively in the paint. With the help of Tatiana Smith, Bria Griffith, and Imani Sutton full court pressure was no problem. With a little practice on high pressure situations we become an even stronger opponent. We take on Corinth Holders at home Thursday. GO WARRIORS!
